It has been so hot lately–I’m talking mid-90s–and I guess I should have expected it because it is June now, but I just wasn’t prepared. I think all the craziness that’s been going on in the world lately kind of distracted me from even being able to think about summer. But the time has come! And today I’m sharing some really cute one-piece bathing suits with tummy control.

Although I fear I will probably spend most of the summer in my own backyard, I’ve still been looking at cute swimsuits because we all still have to live, right? Why not get a cute new swimsuit? Plus, I know I’ll be out of the house a little, even if it’s to a secluded part of a river, or a little lake up in the mountains.

While I do have a few cute two-piece bathing suits, I’m really loving all the cute one-piece suits (or monokinis) that are available these days. They’re trendy, and they do not age you. Literally, anyone can wear them. But the ones I’m always on the lookout for are the one-piece bathing suits with tummy control.

Even before kids, my tummy area was always an issue for me and I felt like 1) I could never wear a two-piece bathing suit and 2) it didn’t really matter because the one-piece suits were so ugly and showed everything anyway, didn’t really matter what I wore. I avoided pools, beaches, and anywhere I would be expected to be seen in a bathing suit.

Luckily, my body positivity and self esteem has sky-rocketed since those days and I no longer hide or care what anyone thinks. With that, I’m still always on the lookout for cute one-piece bathing suits with tummy control because, why not? And I’ve found some really, really cute options that are slimming, with shirring, and look amazing.
