I’m sure you’ve heard already, but if not, Pantone’s 2020 color of the year is “classic blue.” I love decorating with blue. I used accents of it in my den/piano room, and my master bedroom.
Last year, Pantone’s color of the year was “living coral” and I did a post sharing some of my favorite rooms decorated in coral. This year I’d like to do the same with 2020’s color.
Sometimes you can really like a color but still have a hard time actually decorating with it. That’s kind of how I feel about the color red. I love, love, love red but I’ve never actually decorated with it in a big way. I tend to stay in my comfort zone of earthy greens, whites, and deep blues with splashes of pink or red here or there.
Today I’m sharing a few gorgeous blue spaces you might just like to recreate, along with some fresh décor to help you achieve that “classic blue” look.
What do you think of Pantone’s 2020 color of the year? Are you a fan of decorating with blue? While I mentioned above that I did decorate my den with accents of blue, I really don’t use blue very often in my home decor journeys. After seeing all of these beautiful blue spaces, I definitely think I’m going to try to incorporate a little more blue into my home because it’s such a pretty and versatile color.
