Lavender is one of my favorite colors. I could paint my whole house lavender (although I don’t think my husband would go for it). In fact, I stayed at a tiny historic hotel in the South of France full of gorgeous lavender rooms. It was mesmerizing. I’m also a little obsessed with the flower and dream of one day having my own little lavender farm…but that is a post for another day.

I know not everyone shares my same love obsession with the purple hue. A lot of people just don’t like the color purple. I’ll admit, there are a few shades of purple that can be somewhat off-putting.
