As I mentioned in Tuesday’s post, Tuesday’s TJ Maxx Finds, Rae Dunn is crazy popular right now. One of the best places to find it is TJ Maxx and its sister stores: Marshalls & HomeGoods. It used to be easy and simple to find Rae Dunn at these locations…especially online. You could sit on the couch in your sweatpants with a glass of wine and simply go to the TJ Maxx website, type in “Rae Dunn” and you’d see all the Rae Dunn items currently available. However, this is no longer the case. I don’t know exactly why, but Rae Dunn is no longer searchable on tjmaxx.com. This could have something to do with the fact that because TJ Maxx and other discount department stores sell name brand items at sometimes up to 60% off department store prices, they don’t like to (or aren’t allowed to) advertise the specific brands. I know a lot of stores such as Burlington Coat Factory require you add an item to your cart before they’ll reveal the price or designer.
Another reason could be that since Rae Dunn is so popular and considered a scarce commodity, it sells super fast from discount department stores where it’s practically a steal. Then the buyers resell for a profit on places like Ebay, Etsy, & Poshmark. I’ve shared Rae Dunn items in my posts before and had them sell out before my post even went live. My guess is that TJ Maxx couldn’t keep Rae Dunn in stock. No matter the reason, it’s harder than ever to find Rae Dunn at TJ Maxx online anymore.
Today we’re going to delve a little deeper into how to get around this, or what I like to call “The Secret Way To Find Rae Dunn At TJ Maxx Online.” Several weeks ago I was sharing my regular ‘Tuesday’s TJ Maxx Finds’ and decided to narrow it down to all Rae Dunn items. There were so many great things, and knowing how in-demand Rae Dunn is, I knew it would be a popular post. And it was. At the bottom of my post I included a(n) (affiliate) link to a page that displayed only Rae Dunn items. I did this so that if someone wanted to see what else TJ Maxx has to offer in the way of Rae Dunn (not just new products), then they could click on this link and see a bigger selection.
At the time, I had no idea TJ Maxx was going to ban searches for “Rae Dunn,” I just did it out of convenience for my readers, so they could click on one link that would bring them to all the Rae Dunn TJ Maxx was offering at the time. I don’t think my readers are resellers (although they could be!), I think we all just love a whimsical, country farmhouse Rae Dunn piece. After searches for Rae Dunn were banned, I assumed my link would also no longer work. However, after clicking on it out of curiosity to see if I needed to get rid of it, I was surprised to learn it still worked! I could use that link to find all the Rae Dunn I could ever imagine, in one place.
I don’t know how much longer my link will be active, but I’m going to use it for as long as I can.
So, to summarize, here’s my secret way to find Rae Dunn at TJ Maxx online; you really have three options:

Go to the ‘home decor’ section and look through hundreds of items until you find anything Rae Dunn.

Be more specific with your search inquiries. If you know you’re looking for Rae Dunn mugs, type in “mugs” to narrow down your search, so you’re not browsing the entire ‘home’ section for several hours.

Hi Leanne, no, unfortunately Marshalls also blocked searches for Rae Dunn and I am not affiliated with Marshalls in any way. I wish I were. I love shopping there too. I search “Rae Dunn” every day on Marshalls. website. I don’t believe it’s blocked.

Your correct it isn’t blocked on tj maxx either . Just type in Rae Dunn in search bar .
Nese, searches for Rae Dunn were blocked on the TJ Maxx website before Covid. Once they opened their online store back up after the lockdown, Rae Dunn searches were no longer blocked. I don’t know what will happen in the future regarding Rae Dunn searches. Thanks for your comment.

Hi Natasha! Yes, I actually just saw a ceramic birdhouse, if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s on the TJ Maxx site right now. Click on the link and go to page 2 of the Rae Dunn items. I think it’s maybe halfway down the page. And it’s on clearance! Let me know if you decide to get it ?

Is there a way to search for just Rae Dunn Mugs. I am having a hard time trying to find them.
Hi Carolyn, I’m not seeing a lot of Rae Dunn mugs at TJ Maxx or its sister stores right now. I’m not sure why this is but I imagine it’s a supply issue. You can always search for “mugs” in the search bar and sift through all the available mugs on the website but there is no way to only search Rae Dunn mugs. Good luck!
