Welcome to part 5 of my 6 part series: Where I Find My Coolest Décor. Today I will be briefly discussing two of my favorite apps for buying second hand home décor & furniture: letgo & OfferUp

letgo  and OfferUp are both buying and selling apps. I’ve purchased furniture and home décor via both apps. I got my 1907 piano that had been refinished and in mint condition for free via the ‘OfferUp’ app, and many other items using ‘letgo.’

One thing I’ve found is that a lot of people post things for sale on these apps instead of Craigslist. I don’t know if they feel Craisglist is overrun with junk these days and there is some prestige in using a newer app, or if they just want to try something different. But these apps are the first place I look, even before Craiglist to find unique items–sometimes vintage & antique. Both apps are free to download and use and I highly recommend checking them out.
